The Science

Swiss formulation, built on decades of cellular renewal research.

Celergen is a daily capsule of marine peptides, cold-extracted in Switzerland, that gives your body the raw material it uses to rebuild skin, joints and muscle.

Celergen is not a recent idea. The marine peptide research it draws on has been developing in Swiss laboratories for over forty years, and the formula itself has been studied in peer-reviewed clinical work and published in indexed journals.

This page sets out what that research found, and where it was published.

Peer-Reviewed Research

A 2019 study measured two markers that had never been moved before.

Researchers at Tufts University in Boston, working with two clinics in Spain, followed 87 participants across twelve weeks. They measured two markers in the blood: TNF, a protein involved in the body's inflammatory signalling, and Substance P, a neuropeptide associated with the transmission of discomfort signals.

Both markers were significantly elevated at the start of the study compared with the control group. After twelve weeks on the formula, both had decreased significantly. Participants also reported improvements in functioning, fatigue and general wellbeing from week four onward, which held for the remainder of the study.

This is the first time to our knowledge that any molecule can reduce blood levels of Substance P in any disease.

What the Markers Mean

Two signals, one underlying conversation.

TNF

Part of how the body signals that something needs attention. In short bursts that is exactly what it is for. Sustained at a low level over years, it becomes background noise the body never quite switches off.

Substance P

A messenger involved in how the nervous system communicates discomfort. It had not previously been shown to respond to any molecule, which is what made the Tufts result notable to the researchers who published it.

Same Formula, Same Research

The formula studied is the formula sold.

A 2013 paper published in Drug Discoveries and Therapeutics recorded the exact composition it tested. Expressed on the same basis, the Celergen capsule sold today matches it.

Cellular Renewal

Renewal works on a timeline, and the timeline is why the programme is ninety days.

Cells do not renew on demand. They renew on a cycle, and that cycle lengthens with age. The five phases below describe what consistent daily use looks like over time, and why the first month is the least representative part of the process.

Phase IDecline
Week 0

Where most people begin. Cellular turnover has slowed, and the effects of that slowing have usually been present long enough to feel normal.

Phase IIInitiation
Weeks 1 to 9

The formula enters circulation and cells begin the renewal process. Little is visible yet. This is the phase where most people who stop, stop.

Phase IIIRenewal
Weeks 10 to 15

Renewal is happening at scale. This is typically where change becomes apparent rather than theoretical, and it is why ninety days is the meaningful measure.

Phase IVConsolidation
Weeks 16 to 20

Cellular condition holds at its improved level, supported by continued daily use rather than driven by it.

Phase VSustained Renewal
Week 21 onward

Renewal continues as an ongoing process. The programme becomes a regimen rather than a trial.

Clinical Perspective

What practitioners say about the evidence.

For me to recommend a product it must have two things going for it, a solid scientific basis with clinical trials, and it must be a high quality product that produces results. Celergen fits that criteria.

The research is one half of the argument. How the formula is sourced, extracted and encapsulated is the other, and it is the reason the peptides survive the journey intact.

Food supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of the reach of young children. Contains fish. Celergen is for adults only. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Individual results may vary.
